About The Program
Our mission at LLI is to cultivate and amplify the leadership capabilities of Latina women, equipping them with the skills, knowledge, and social networks necessary to drive meaningful change in their communities and beyond.
Our vision is to see a future where Latina leaders are at the forefront of decision-making in government, non-profit organizations, the private sector, and other influential arenas
across the state.
The Latina Leadership Institute offers a comprehensive 10-month program designed to develop the leadership skills of Latinas. This program includes training sessions, workshops, and mentorship opportunities focused on:
- Non-profit leadership
- Government and public policy
- Business acumen
- Community development
Each cohort consists of 15-20 talented Latinas who are selected through a rigorous application process. Throughout the program, participants engage with a curriculum that includes leadership theory, practical skills development, and real-world applications. They also benefit from the guidance and support of our esteemed Advisory Council, which includes leading Latina leaders who are both alumni and supporters of LLI.
